I am currently a Research Compliance Officer at The University of Toledo. Relocating from Cleveland, Ohio, after nearly 5 years as Research Nurse Manger at David R. Mandel, MD Inc., a private practice with a progressive research department, which participated in studies requiring off-site surgical procedures. My research career began when I started the Lipid Research Center with Joseph P Frolkis, MD and Robert Haynie, MD at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Our Lipid Research Center yielded a profit in record time in a challenging Cleveland health care environment. When Mt. Sinai Medical Center closed its doors, I transferred to Cleveland Clinic Preventive Cardiology. I excel at regulatory compliance as well as improving accuracy and efficiency for research sites. I have had the opportunity to assist a number of sites with starting research departments, identifying deficiencies, and streamlining processes to improve efficiency, patient visit flow, and data entry.
