Bio

I serve as the Clinical Research Director for a large private medical practice in Gainesville, Georgia. We currently perform Phase 2, 3, and 4 clinical trials in the general therapeutic areas of internal medicine and the internal medicine sub-specialties of pulmonology, rheumatology, endocrinology, and nephrology. I am board certified in Public Health and Preventive Medicine, have a master's degree in public health (MSPH), and completed the Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control. While I spent the first part of my career working as a medical epidemiologist in public health, I have enjoyed the transition to clinical research in the private practice setting. I look forward to growing our research center and the challenge of helping to bring safe and effective new treatments to market.
