This session will highlight key laws and regulations (or the absence of laws and regulations) that directly or indirectly affect the research industry.

Learning Objectives:

1. Participants will be able to recall the current status of Medicaid coverage of routine care in clinical trials
2. Participants will identify key guidance and other enforcement discretions initiated during COVID-19 pandemic that either stayed or went away
3. Participants will be able to describe multiple efforts to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical research
