Program Description: This event will consist of social networking time with lunch provided to registered attendees. Explore privacy and security considerations for research projects involving the use of a connected device, app, or social media, including issues for IRB consideration, subject informed consent and compliance with the HIPAA regulations

Upon completion of this Webinar, attendees should be able to:

• Understand the privacy and security issues with the use of connected devices, apps and social media in research
• Understand the questions to ask when the research project is considering the use of connected devices, apps and/or social media.
• Improve the quality of documentation for research projects using connected devices, apps and/or social media

Target Audience: Clinical Research Personnel
