Registration Cost: There is no cost for attending the meeting. Non-members are welcome to attend the meeting.
Program Description: This presentation will focus on subject privacy and confidentiality in clinical research. A summary will be provided regarding regulatory and GCP requirements. Certificates of Confidentiality and the 21st Century Cures Act will also be defined, and their applicability discussed.
Upon completion of this presentation, attendees should be able to:
- Understand regulatory and GCP background for respecting privacy and preserving confidentiality of research subjects
- Understand changes in the 21st Century Cures Act for protection of privacy for research subjects
- Understand how Certificates of Confidentiality impact clinical research
Contact hours: 1 Contact hour has been applied for through ACRP. Membership is not required for online registration of contact hours.
To receive contact hours: Purchase the contact hours, sign in at the registration desk, and attend the program. Log on to the ACRP website, then “ACRP Learning Portal” to complete the evaluation no later than 30 days following the event and obtain the online certificate.
