  1. Recognize the importance of a diversified patient population & research team
  2. Ethical impact on communities
    1. Lack of inclusion, when participation is not an option or
    2. If Researchers and/ or staff are not representative of center community
  3. Acknowledge inherent cultural bias to facilitate change and ensure better training
  4. Identify ways to improve staff awareness of disparities in conducting research
