Program Description: Investigator Initiated Sponsored Research (IISR) is vital to obtaining valuable scientific and clinical information through of innovative uses for new and existing medical treatments. Recently, governments and regulatory agencies have heightened legal scrutiny for IISR programs, leading to the need for clearer processes and procedures across both academia and industry supporters. This webinar will describe some of the major challenges involved in the implementation of IISR programs and provides a forum discussion around strategies and solutions that address both investigator and industry concerns.
