Webinar description: Join us to gain strategies for managing the effects of rapid, uncontrolled social media disclosures and their potential negative consequences, particularly in the areas of subject safety reporting and research integrity.
Upon completion of this webinar, attendees should be able to:
- Summarize how social media is used in clinical research and its impact on clinical trial operations
- Evaluate differences between the use of social media forums for publication of general trial information and disclosure of confidential patient, safety or result information
- Recommend strategies to mitigate bias and unintended effects on the clinical trial or site
