Program Description: Methods which hold research team members accountable to their respective roles are described in this presentation. Four key components to this process are defining expectations, competency verified training, performance evaluations, and corrective action processes. Attendees will receive a training checklist for CRCs and several quality assurance tools we successfully apply at our site. Consistent application of these processes may provide a site with additional tools to effectively manage in this increasingly complex world of research.

After attending this session, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the purpose and activities conducted during Define the four key components of accountability based training.
  • Apply the checklist provided to verify training.
  • Describe one method for addressing performance inconsistencies.

To receive contact hours: Purchase the contact hours, sign in at the registration desk, and attend the program. Log on to the ACRP website then “ACRP Learning Portal” to complete the evaluation no later than 30 days following the event and obtain the online certificate.
