Program Description: This program will explore the respiratory system and respiratory disease, and what clinical research is being conducted currently to address respiratory disease. Understanding the “What, Where, Why, When, How” of respiratory disease will lead to the understanding of how clinical trials are designed to address the particular needs of respiratory disease.Upon completion of this Seminar, attendees should be able to:
Describe common airborne exposures and the respiratory system
Describe the burden of respiratory disease
Describe examples of respiratory disease research at your institution
Differentiate the “What, Where, Why, When, How” of respiratory disease
Appraise the future landscape of respiratory disease research
