Social Media Squeeze: Clinical Research Response to Changes
Speaker: Kevin Ketels, President and Founder of Kyrris Marketing, is a regular blogger and speaker on topics including marketing strategy, consumer behavior, branding, digital marketing, and business development. In addition, he is adjunct professor of Marketing at Wayne State University.
Program Description: This year Facebook announced changes to the algorithm that determines the content in your news feed. Posts from clinical research organizations are getting squeezed out to allow more interactions between friends and family. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said he is ok if people use his platform less.
He wants the interactions to be of higher quality. For clinical research study subject recruitment, the answer is authenticity and a human connection. Tell your organization’s story in a real and meaningful way. It has always been the best strategy.
Upon attending the session, attendees should be able to:
- Understand changes in social media impacting clinical research study subject recruitment
- Structure a social media campaign for study subject recruitment
- Develop compelling content for quality engagement
