A virtual event with a live presenter from the University of Utah's Research Participant Advocacy office discussing today's research landscape and how to improve bedside manner for LGBTQIA+ patients.

Upon completion of this seminar, attendees should be able to:
  1. Discover practical steps and approaches to study design to encourage inclusivity and build trust.
  2. Reflect on ways current practices may be impacting marginalized communities during research encounters.
  3. Learn how exclusive and/or heterosexism wording may impact LGBTQIA+ youth participants and its potential impact on their mental health and, in turn, research efforts.

Target audience and level:
All clinical research professionals, investigators, and community members are invited to attend. Content is focused toward the beginning and intermediate learner.
