Chapter Members who cannot attend in person but can attend via live-stream must by Thursday, 4/19 noon: 1) register for the event (request contact hours only, free) and 2) email Nancy_Needler@urmc.rochester, who will then share, via email, the webinar joining information (audio/hyperlink). You must attend via live-stream, and after the event complete the evaluation.

Program Description:
Identify the leadership behaviors and characteristics needed in your clinical research team and build a personal plan to cultivate your leadership qualities. Leadership at every level of the clinical research team is important. Demonstrating leadership, even when one has no direct authority, sets the tone for a good work environment, motivates others, fosters collaboration and provides direction to those wanting to do their best work. Open up new opportunities for yourself as you explore the elements of your personal style and leadership presence.

Learning Objectives:
  • Identify the elements of personal style and presence that enhance leadership
  • Learn techniques to engage others in spite of lacking direct authority
  • Develop a plan to grow leadership characteristics to increase effective collaboration

One (1) contact hour has been applied for through ACRP. Membership is not required for online registration of contact hrs.

Target Audience: Research Health Professionals: Coordinators, Monitors, Managers, Quality Improvement

To receive contact hours: Register (for free if chapter member) or purchase the contact hours, sign-in at the registration desk, and attend the program. Log on to the ACRP website then “ACRP Learning Portal” to complete the evaluation no later than 30 days following the event and obtain the online certificate.
