Program Description: The UF Health Cancer Center Clinical Research Office offers monthly educational presentations to promote research staff growth and understanding in oncology clinical trials. February's presentation will provide a review the importance of data entry, endpoints, objectives and hypothesis. The presenters will review descriptive statistics, common errors in data entry and the impact to the study; and last quality control procedures to prevent data entry errors.

Upon completion of this session, attendees should be able to:

  • Identify how endpoints, objectives and hypothesis are related to each other within the protocol
  • Have a general concept of descriptive statistics
  • Identify the impacts of inaccurate or incomplete data to the study
  • Apply the principles of ALCOA+ to good practices of data entry
