Program Description: 
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a debilitating autoimmune disease. Patients with SLE have several unmet medical needs including improving quality of life. Like other debilitating diseases, there is a growing interest among the SLE community in researching cannabis or cannabis-based medicines for therapeutic purposes.

Upon completion of this Seminar, attendees should be able to:
  1. Describe current treatment options for systemic lupus erythematosus
  2.  Identify obstacles to the development of treatment options for systemic lupus erythematosus
  3. Discuss the therapeutic potential of cannabinoids to improve disease management of systemic lupus erythematosus
