Program Description
:
With the increasing complexity of clinical trials and the pressure to decrease the timelines to bring new treat-ments to market, it becomes evident that one of the most challenging phases in the clinical trial life cycle is the start-up process. It is crucial that sponsors and sites work together right from the get-go to ensure the success of the clinical trial. Join the New York Metropolitan Chapter of ACRP as we seek to explore the components of study start-up and how each can impact on the ultimate success of the clinical trial.

Upon completion of this symposium, attendees should be able to:
1. describe what sponsors are looking for during site feasibility and how sites can work to meet the needs of sponsor;
2. describe the requirements on a clinical trial budget and what must be included in a clinical trial agreement;
3. identify how to plan an efficient timeline for study start-up and how to fulfill the skillsets needed for your start-up team.

Target Audience: All clinical research professionals.
