The clinical research landscape is shifting faster than at any point in recent memory. Funding models are changing, federal policy is in flux, new technologies are reshaping how trials are designed and run, and the demands on every professional in this field are growing. The ACRP New York Metropolitan Chapter's 18th Annual Symposium brings together clinical research professionals from across pharma, CROs, academic medical centers and nonprofit organizations for a full day of honest conversation, practical knowledge and actionable takeaways.
This year's program is built around one question: what do you need to know right now to do your job better and lead your organization forward? Every session is designed with that in mind. You will hear from experts on real-world evidence and health economics, artificial intelligence in clinical operations, study start-up challenges, federal policy changes and what they mean for your work. You will also have the opportunity to choose a breakout session tailored to your role and your organization's most pressing needs.
Whether you are a clinical research coordinator, a site director, a sponsor representative, a CRO professional or a research leader at an academic institution, this symposium has something relevant for where you are right now.

Learning Objectives:
- Describe the current state of the clinical research landscape, including the structural and funding shifts affecting sponsors, CROs, academic medical centers and nonprofit research organizations.
- Explain the principles of real-world evidence study design and articulate how health economics and cost-effectiveness data are influencing regulatory submissions and payer coverage decisions.
- Evaluate artificial intelligence tools being used across the clinical trial lifecycle and apply a practical framework for assessing vendor solutions and data governance considerations within their own organizations.
- Identify the key bottlenecks contributing to study start-up delays and outline strategies to improve site activation timelines from the perspective of sponsors, CROs, sites and coordinators.
- Summarize recent federal policy changes affecting clinical research, including NIH restructuring and FDA regulatory developments, and identify advocacy channels and organizational response strategies available to clinical research professionals.
- Select and apply at least one actionable strategy from the breakout session of their choice, whether in the area of adaptive and decentralized trial design or sustainable industry partnership development.
