Learning Objectives
- List routine lab maintenance tasks
- Identify and define biomedical waste (BMW) handled in the research lab
- Differentiate between Sharps, General BMW and Clean Lab Ware, and describe appropriate handling, storage and disposal of each.
- Locate internal reference documents providing guidance for laboratory procedures
- Identify resources for assistance and additional information
