Event Description

Participants will be involved in a 1-hour session related to Carilion Clinic’s experience in handling the CRC role within medical school student research. Cara will share her experience as a CRC at Carilion Clinic, as well as examples for working with medical students within clinical research activities.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Define the unique liaison role of the CRCC to both the PI and the student
  2. Identify additional responsibilities/skills for a CRC working on medical school student projects 
  3. Identify organizational tools to manage multiple projects at various stages in the lifecycle of a medical school curriculum
