When:  Jul 20, 2026 from 06:30 PM to 08:00 PM (ET)

NY Metro Chapter: The Clinical Research Career Compass

Event Description:
Join the New York Metropolitan Chapter of ACRP for The Clinical Research Career Compass -- a free virtual panel event designed specifically for emerging professionals looking to break into the field.

Whether you're drawn to working directly with patients at academic research sites or prefer a role in the field monitoring clinical trials on behalf of industry sponsors, this event will give you a clear, insider look at two of the most in-demand entry points in clinical research: the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) and the Clinical Research Associate (CRA).

Hear directly from working professionals who will share what their roles actually look like day-to-day, what skills and experience employers are looking for, and how you can position yourself to stand out in a competitive and growing job market. Our panelists represent both sides of the industry (academic research sites and industry sponsors) giving you a well-rounded perspective on your options.

We're also thrilled to welcome a representative from Actalent, a leading talent and staffing agency specializing in clinical research, who will provide an overview of the current state of the industry, including hiring trends, salary landscape, and actionable advice for making yourself a competitive candidate.
