Event Description:
From Intern to Leader explores how emerging and mid-career professionals can build meaningful, sustainable careers in health and clinical research. Drawing from real-world experience across academia, clinical operations, and consulting, Dr. Warrick shares strategies for skill development, mentorship, and navigating career transitions across the research continuum. Participants will gain insights into aligning their professional goals with evolving industry and public health needs while positioning themselves for long-term impact in an increasingly interdisciplinary field. 
 
Speaker:
Dr. Tia Warrick, DHSc, MPH, CCRA, ACRP-PM, is the Public Health Director and Assistant Professor of Biology at Juniata College, CEO and Founder of Lesous Consulting LLC, and Organizer and Speaker for TEDxJuniataCollege. Through Lesous Consulting, Dr. Warrick leads initiatives that bridge academic training, public health practice, and clinical research operations—helping institutions, professionals, and organizations strengthen workforce capacity and leadership pipelines. Her professional portfolio spans research management, public health program development, and consulting, with a focus on empowering students and professionals to innovate, lead, and create sustainable impact in health research and practice.
