Program Description: This session will provide an overview of the FDA guidance. Discussion on how to incorporate inclusive language when talking to research participants.

- Review of the current guidance from the FDA to help put action into increasing diversity in clinical research
- Discuss what inclusive language means and how to use it
- Utilize People First Language and Identity language concepts
- Identify the influences language has on our perceptions
- Identify ways medical practitioners and researchers can be more inclusive
