Program Description: This session will provide an overview of the FDA guidance. Discussion on how to incorporate inclusive language when talking to research participants.  

Upon completion of this event, attendees should be able to:

1. Review of the current guidance from the FDA to help put action into increasing diversity in clinical research
2. Discuss what inclusive language means and how to use it
3. Utilize People First Language and Identity language concepts
4. Identify the influences language has on our perceptions
5. Identify ways medical practitioners and researchers can be more inclusive
