Program Description: This session is grounded in developing a strong team while also building a successful career for yourself. The session will describe several techniques leaders can use to learn to develop as leaders as well as tools that can be utilized to develop a strong team that fosters open communication and respect of different personality styles. It will provide practical tips for developing career ladders for individuals who wish to grow as well as hints on how to be flexible with team working environments and work shifts. We will learn how to interact with other teams external to the Research team in order to facilitate strong inter-department communications and work flows.
