Program Description
This presentation will provide an introductory overview of utilizing REDCap as a data capture system for clinical research, covering the general capablities of RedCap, considerations for implementation of RedCap, and tip and tricks for general usage from a research perspective.

  • Assess projects and REDCap capabilities to determine the utility of RedCa as a useful data collection tool for a given project
  • List the different features that are available for use in REDCap
  • Describe the field types available in REDCap
  • Identify resources for support, including free, online assistance
  • Explain why having a project in Production status is crucial before collecting real data
