Event Description:
Interested in how clinical trials are designed? This webinar introduces the fundamentals of protocol development and walks through the essential building blocks of a clinical research study. From defining study objectives and patient populations to outlining procedures and safety monitoring, participants will learn how protocols guide every aspect of trial conduct from start to finish. 
 
Speakers:
Jathin Bandari, MD - Director of Clinical Trials of Urology at University of Rochester Medical Center. 
  • Jathin Bandari received his MD from John's Hopkins University in 2012, CMO of Protera Therapeutics, board certified as Urologic Oncologist. 
 
Learning Objectives:
  1. Understand the key components of a well-designed protocol
  2. Identify common challenges and pitfalls in protocol development
  3. Apply best practices for writing clear, compliant, and feasible protocols
  4. Develop protocols aligned with study objectives, endpoints, and regulatory expectations
  5. Improve collaboration between clinical, regulatory, and operational teams during protocol design
