Dr. J. Kaitlin Morrison will present Hybrid Operations to Promote Equity (HOPE) – Establishing Oncology Hybrid DCTs Across NC. The presentation will explore the development and implementation of hybrid decentralized clinical trial approaches in oncology, with a focus on expanding access to clinical research and bringing research opportunities closer to where patients receive care.

Dr. J. Kaitlin Morrison is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and serves as Executive Director of Clinical Research for the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she oversees clinical research operations and a workforce of more than 200 staff members.
Her expertise spans clinical development, regulatory strategy, clinical operations, compliance, and medical writing for single-center and multicenter clinical trials. Dr. Morrison's research focuses on translating cell and gene therapies from the laboratory to the clinic and developing innovative clinical trial designs, including hybrid decentralized clinical trials. She is also actively engaged in expanding access to clinical research by bringing research opportunities closer to where patients receive care.
