Wisconsin Chapter: Study Closure Logistics 

 
Event Description:
This course will discuss Study Closeout Logistics. Concise guidance will be provided on when to close a study and what steps need to be taken. We will discuss what procedures can still take place after closure and what cannot; as well as rules and regulations that need to be followed before and after closing. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of when and how to close a study (specifically investigator initiated trials). Attendees will receive sample checklists.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Define when a study should be closed (focusing on Investigator Initiated).
  2. Describe the steps the need to be taken as well as the rules and regulations that should be followed.
  3. Provide examples of closure checklists that can be utilized.
