Program Description:Melinda Wilding is an instructor and consultant of bioethics with eighteen years of experience.
Her areas of research include use of social media to level knowledge gaps between researchers and participants and implicit bias in clinical care. Melinda will discuss the principles of NIH in guiding research.
Upon completion of this Seminar, attendees should be able to:
- Review Codes of Ethics for Clinical Research.
- Outline protection of rights, safety, and well-being of research participants.
- Understand the seven principles of the NIH to guide the conduct of clinical research.
