Event Description:
Join us for our annual Fall Symposium - held in person this year! The event program is designed to discuss increasing complexity in research compliance, cybersecurity and ethical dilemmas with a concern to regulatory authorities and FDA placing the onus on site personnel. This event will host live speakers and will also be presenting two session replays from the ACRP Conference Library. The educational portion of this event may be self-reported as 5 CEUs. 
 
Event Agenda:
  • 8:00 – 8:30 AM : Breakfast & Sign-In
  • 8:30 – 9:30 AM: Ethical Dilemmas in Genetic Information for Clinical Research (ACRP 2025 Conference Replay)
  • 9:30 – 11:00 AM: When Protocol Compliance Meets Cybersecurity and Foreign Influence: What Every U.S. Site Needs to Know About the New Risk Landscape. Speaker: Edye Edens, J.D.
  • 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Clinical Protocols: How to Avoid Site Noncompliance. Speaker: Jerry M. Stein, PhD, ACRP-CP, FACRP
  • 12:30 – 1:30 PM: Actionable Insights for Transforming the Clinical Research Enterprise (ACRP 2025 Conference Replay)
 
Learning Objectives:
  1. Discuss regulations surrounding genetic testing and return of results
  2. Explore how protocol compliance now intersects with emerging requirements under FDA cybersecurity guidance
  3. Highlight areas of deficiencies seen at investigator sites 
  4. Discuss common inspection findings and how to spot pitfalls
  5. Explore real-world actionable insights for clinical trial implementation, our current state, where do we want to go from here

The Chapter can provide a certificate of attendance upon request.
