Program Description:
Interviewing subjects is one of the most important tasks of the CRC. An interview is required when the CRC obtains a medical history, inquires about an adverse event, and completes any PRO instrument. An excellent interviewing technique calls for a broad fund of medical knowledge and exemplary communication skills based upon patience, practice, concentration, and respect. Good communication requires both intense listening and keen observation.
Fundamentals of interviewing will be presented, followed by several scenarios.
Upon completion of this Webinar, attendees should be able to:
- Adequately document pain symptoms
- Identify interviewer bias
- Identify subject bias
