Ohio Chapter: May 2026 Education Series

Event Description:
Clinical research trust is not established at the point of recruitment — it is cultivated through ongoing, transparent, and community-centered education. In this webinar, Mitchell Hilbe will present a practical framework for improving community literacy in clinical research, originally shared alongside Addison Gumbert at ACRP. The session will explore how equity-focused education, transparency, and relationship-building can strengthen trust in research beyond study enrollment. Attendees will gain insight into strategies that help communities better understand clinical research, ask informed questions, and feel respected regardless of participation decisions.

Mitchell Hilbe brings experience across CRO strategy, professional education, nonprofit outreach, and expanded access operations through his work with DiversiTrials, Clinical Research Pro, the Clinical Research Justice League, and WideTrial. His work focuses on making clinical research more trustworthy, accessible, and operationally effective for both sites and communities.
