Program Description:
Our traditional one-day event has been divided across three consecutive Fridays. Our agenda will include 6 sessions. Presentations and Panel Discussions will focus on the following topics:
Emerging Technology in Clinical Research
Training New Researchers
Remote Monitoring a Medical Device Study
Human Protection Programs Due to FDA Guidance on COVID-19
Diversity in Clinical Trials
Local Biotech COVID Innovations
A participant, if they attend all sessions, will earn up to 7.5 educational contact hours.

Upon completion of this Seminar, attendees should be able to:
  1. Describe different technologies that will have the greatest impact on the clinical trial workforce
  2. Create a structured and comprehensive new study coordinator training/onboarding process.
  3. Describe the implementation process for remote monitoring into the current clinical trial operations
  4. Discuss why diversity in subjects and workforce is important in clinical research
  5. Discuss how local Biotech companies rapidly met the needs of clinical research in response to COVID 19 pandemic
  6. Discuss the impacts FDA Guidance on COVID-19 had on IRBs as part of the Human Research Protection Program and how decisions were made as a result of the new guidance
