  • Research Nurse – U of MN Masonic Cancer Center (Job Opening ID 314955)

    The Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota is currently recruiting a Clinical Research Nurse to coordinate all aspects of multiple clinical trials in oncology, hematology and BMT, primarily in hematological malignancies and BMT. A National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Masonic Cancer Center provides the infrastructure necessary to perform high-quality investigator-initiated and industry sponsored clinical research. Research Nurse responsibilities include evaluating and enrolling patients, coordinating study procedures, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and IRB-approved protocols, data abstraction and entry, and educating staff, medical providers, patients and their families about protocols. The Masonic Cancer Center creates a collaborative research environment focused on the causes, prevention, detection, and treatment of cancer; applying that knowledge to improve quality of life for patients and survivors; and sharing its discoveries with other scientists, students, professionals, and the community.
