    ​Research Care Coordinator (UMN Heart Care- Southdale)
    As the multi-specialty group practice for the faculty of the University of Minnesota Medical School, University of Minnesota Physicians has more than 950 physicians and 1,600 health professionals, providing clinical care in over 100 specialty and sub-specialty areas.  Our mission is three-fold: delivering exceptional patient care, advancing medicine through research, and training the next generation of health professionals.

     

     

    The Research Care Coordinator will work closely under the direction and supervision of one or more Principal Study Investigators, coordinate Industry and NIH sponsored phase I–IV clinical trials involving human subjects who will receive an investigational or conventional drug or device for research purposes. The Coordinator will also assist Principal Investigators conducting Investigator-Initiated Trials by coordinating abstraction of data for Registries, use of HDE devices in the clinical setting, and/or the use of a compassionate use investigational product. This individual may also work cooperatively with other University of MN Researchers to facilitate the conduction of their trial(s).
