Do you want to get to get more involved in the research community? Do you want to get to know other professionals in your area and contribute to developing an active, vibrant local clinical research community? If so, we encourage you to apply for a board or volunteer position with the ACRP Chicagoland Chapter. If you are new to the field or just interested in getting involved, you are encouraged to apply for a non-Board volunteer position. When you become involved in your local chapter you choose to be a knowledge leader in the clinical research profession and change maker in your own backyard. Chapter leadership offers you a unique opportunity to connect with local, national, and international professionals.
The ACRP Chicagoland chapter board members are responsible for planning and executing networking and educational events for the Chicagoland chapter. ACRP membership is required at both the national and chapter level in order to apply for a chapter board position. The board is required to meet quarterly (at a minimum). This year we are also recruiting two non-board volunteer positions who will play large roles in assisting the board members with promoting and preparing for events. In the library below are additional details for all board and non-board positions. If you have any questions you can contact chicagolandacrp@gmail.com.
ACRP supports clinical research professionals through membership, training and development, and certification. The ACRP Chicagoland chapter is one of more than 50 local chapters. The local chapters provide forums for your personal and professional development; opportunities to develop your leadership, managerial, public speaking and group decision-making skills; offering continuing education credits; and providing opportunities for face-to-face networking. The leadership structure of these chapters varies widely and allows you numerous options for involvement.
