Deleting, Editing Documents You've Posted

A time might come when you wish to remove or edit a document that you’ve posted to the Online Community, either as an attachment to an eForum or directly to a Resource Library. Maybe it’s out of date and needs updating. Maybe it’s no longer useful, there’s no replacement and the community would be better off without it. When this time comes for documents you’ve posted, follow these steps:

Deleting/Editing Documents
First visit ‘My Documents’ under the ‘Resources’ tab to view the documents you’ve posted. Select the document you want to remove by clicking its title, and then you’ll be viewing the document’s details page. From this page you can choose ‘Delete Document’ and it – along with all associated comments, etc. – will be deleted from the Online Community.

If you are removing a document because it is out of date and you intend to post an updated version, it might be easier if you choose the ‘Edit’ option. When you choose to edit a document you’ve posted - either as an eForum attachment or directly to a Resource Library – you are given full rein to update the document in its existing form. You can change its title, update its description, delete the old associated file (such as a spreadsheet, etc.) and upload a new one.
