I am searching for a comprehensive source for practical research terminology. Meaning the activities which RC's do to approach, consent, and implement a protocol defiined in at detailed way. I find some ambivalence in this area. The design and type of studies, their statistical analysis, organizational nomenclature and end data terms are fairly well defined, but not the specific activities RC's do in real time as much. (ie. enrolled means ?). Especially since there is more and more emphasis on metrics which attempt to measure some of these activities for QA and performance evaluation.
Any help? The NIH glossary is classic research terms at the highest layer, but I want the real time study mechanics to be defined.
