Program Description: Program Description: Attendees of this event will have an opportunity to mingle with other research professionals in the area and take in what should be a great presentation by Philip Leese MD CPI, Board Member, Midlands IRB and Advisor, Advanced Psychiatric Solutions of Kansas City.
Philip will talk about Genetic Testing in Pain Medicine. Event starts at 5:30pm. Food and beverages will be provided by the ACRP board. Please bring ideas and questions!
Upon completion of this Seminar, attendees should be able to:
- Genetic/Pharmacogenetic testing in patients taking opiates
- Genetic/ Pharmacokinetic testing applications to understanding a patient's response
- Future applications of Pharmacogenetic/Genetic testing in Medicine (Psychiatry)
Target Audience: Clinical Research Coordinators, Clinical Research Associates, Clinical Project Managers, and anyone working in clinical research.
