Program Description:
More and more companies are going “paperless.” What does this mean in the field of clinical research?
This online course examines the challenges of working with electronic documents and how to overcome them. Learn how to set up and manage electronic clinical research documents in compliance with U.S. and EU regulations, and current trends from both the site and sponsor perspectives.
Upon completion of this Seminar, attendees should be able to:

Learning Objective 1: Apply regulations and guidance related to the management and use of electronic tools in clinical research

Learning Objective 2: Evaluate the use of electronic tools and electronic medical records (EMRs) by sites and sponsors during clinical trials

Learning Objective 3: Employ “best practices” for the completion and monitoring of electronic case report forms (eCRFs) and electronic informed consent forms (eICFs) based on multiple electronic source documents
Target Audience:
This activity is intended for Physicians and Nurses engaged in the care of patients within a clinical research trial.
This activity is also intended for clinical research professionals who work with electronic trial documents.
