Research Using mHealth

Program Description: The presentation will provide an overview of the emergence of mobile health (mHealth) devices and applications. There are many innovative ways that mHealth devices can monitor health and/or collect data for clinical trials. This talk will outline new areas of growth and technology and discuss methods for implementing mHealth at a clinical research site.
Upon completion of this Presentation, attendees should be able to:
- Describe mHealth and why mHealth is important
- Exemplify how mHealth is currently used
- Discuss the future is of mHealth
- Explain how to implement mHealth at a clinical research site
Target Audience: Target audience: All individuals involved in planning or implementing clinical research (from coordinators to industry professionals)
Contact hours: 1 Contact hour has been applied for through ACRP. Membership is not required for online registration of contact hours.
To receive contact hours: Purchase the contact hours, sign in at the registration desk, and attend the program. Log on to the ACRP website, then “ACRP Learning Portal” to complete the evaluation no later than 30 days following the event and obtain the online certificate.
