Program Description: Join us for a presentation (webinar replay) and discussion about recognizing misconduct at the research site and developing local training programs to prevent misconduct. will include a case study from a facility where misconduct was discovered and the need for training programs.

Research misconduct and fraud makes headlines. Research site staff members may not be able to identify misconduct or may not fully understand the impact of such misconduct. This presentation is designed to assist research sites in recognizing misconduct and in developing local training programs to prevent misconduct. A case study of one large healthcare system's journey, one that began with of fraud and ended with debarment of a team member, will be utilized to illustrate the need for a robust training program.

Upon completion of this Webinar, attendees should be able to:

  • Discuss the impact of research misconduct on a local and global scale.
  • Describe tools used to combat research misconduct at the site.
  • Design a staff training plan to support compliance efforts at the site.

Target Audience: Investigators, Clinical Research Staff and Administrators, Clinical Research Coordinators, Clinical Research Associates, Clinical Project Managers, Human Subject Protection Office personnel, Research Quality Assurance staff and anyone working in clinical research.
