Program Description: As the industry moves to evaluating clinical research personnel from years of experience to a measured set of competencies, it falls upon the research professional to provide a portfolio to demonstrate them. ePortfolios have been used by veterinary and medical schools as a way to track and represent the students’ abilities. This presentation will introduce a variety of methods to demonstrate competence.
Upon completion of this course, attendees should be able to:
- Relate current evolutions in core competency, research enterprise need, education and training to clinical research professionalism
- Apply core competence to ePortfolios
- Use a variety of ePortfolio methods to demonstrate competence
