Enhancing Quality in the Translational Research (EQuaTR) Workforce Conference

The EQuaTR conference offers professionals in clinical and translational research the opportunity to gain additional knowledge on current trends and issues in clinical research for application in their professional setting. Topics which will be discussed at the conference include: e-consents, human subjects project regulations, using a single IRB for multi-site research and how mobile devices are changing patient engagement.

Program Objectives:
- Discuss current clinical research landscape and why workforce development is imperative
- Understand the research affected by the new NIH policy and when changes will go into effect
- Understand e-consent and advantages in clinical trial setting
- Discuss best practices for study monitor interactions
- Understand how mobile devices are impacting recruitment, retention, engagement, and data collection for patients
Contact Hours: This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences (NUCATS) Institute. Provider approved by the State of California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP 15198, for 5 continuing education contact (CE) hours. Participants must attend the conference in full to receive contact hours.
Cost & Refunds: Early Bird registration is $150 and closes on March 22nd at 4:00 p.m. CST. Standard registration is $175 and closes on April 13th at 4:00 p.m. CST. There are no refunds unless the event is cancelled by NUCATS Institute before the start of the program.
